1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website (the “Site”) and the styling services provided by Phyllis Walker J. Hilburn Stylist Studio (“we,” “us,” or “our”), an independent J.Hilburn stylist. By using the Site, booking an appointment, or joining our email or text programs, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. About This Site

The Site is informational. It describes our styling services and lets you request or book an appointment. It is not an online store — no products are sold and no payment is taken through this Site.

3. Appointments

• Appointment requests made through the Site or our scheduling tool are confirmed by us; a request is not a confirmed appointment until you receive confirmation from us.
• Please give us as much notice as you reasonably can if you need to cancel or reschedule, so the time can be offered to another client.
• We may need to reschedule occasionally. If we do, we will contact you using the details you provided and offer the next available time.
• Appointments are provided as a personal styling service. No particular outcome, fit result, or delivery timeline is guaranteed by these Terms.

4. Products and Orders

J.Hilburn apparel is designed, manufactured, sold, and fulfilled by J.Hilburn. When you place an order, that purchase is a transaction with J.Hilburn under J.Hilburn’s own terms of sale, pricing, warranty, alteration, return, and exchange policies — not under these Terms. We act as your independent stylist in that process. Questions about an order, a payment, a return, or a garment warranty are governed by J.Hilburn’s policies, and we will help you raise them.

5. Communications

If you give us your email address or mobile number, we may contact you about your appointments and orders. Marketing emails and marketing text messages are sent only where you have opted in.

• Text messages: see our Text Message Program page for what we send, how often, and how to stop. You may reply STOP to any message at any time.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Site to submit false or misleading information, to submit someone else’s personal or contact information without their permission, to interfere with the Site’s operation or security, or to use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

7. Intellectual Property

“J.Hilburn” and related names, logos, and product imagery are the property of J.Hilburn and are used here in connection with our role as an independent J.Hilburn stylist. Other content on the Site is ours. You may view and share this content for personal, non-commercial purposes; you may not copy, republish, or use it commercially without permission from the relevant owner.

8. Third-Party Services and Links

The Site links to services we use to run the business, including our appointment scheduling tool and J.Hilburn’s own website. Those services are operated by others, under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or availability.

9. Disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, and we do not warrant that the information on it is complete or current. Nothing on the Site is professional advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Site or these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. These Terms do not limit any rights you have against J.Hilburn in connection with a product you purchased from J.Hilburn.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Collin County or Dallas County, Texas, and you and we consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” above reflects the most recent revision, and continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
